- 1650 - 1700 UTC, 9545 kHz : Deutsche Welle [German Wave], German language broadcast to South West Europe, via Nauen transmitter, 500 kW transmission.
- 1911 - 1928 UTC, 9615 kHz : BBC World Service, English to West Africa via Skelton transmitting station, Cumbria, England; 'Focus on Africa' programme.
