In the Spring of 2014, Roxi enjoyed a hot holiday in Mexico, from which the above image was taken. To learn more about Roxi, follow her on Twitter. The above image was one of the first she posted on social media in April 2014, from Mexico, which shows how very different April in Mexico is, compared to April in the UK!

TAYLOR SWIFT - The 'Blank Space' Video

September 2014 featured the 'Welcome To 1989!' post here on RFTFT, which celebrated Taylor Swift's Yahoo! Livestream broadcast, in which Taylor announced the arrival of the album '1989' and the first single from it, 'Shake It Off'. The blog post in September featured the 'Shake It Off' video, so I would like to follow up by bringing you the official music video of track two from '1989', I present 'Blank Space'.

Where did summer go?

WELCOME to the latest posting here on RFTFT, autumn is taking hold, the leaves on the ground and the rain is no longer 'gentle' but 'lashing'. Television has reverted to the autumn schedule - Yes, 'Strictly Come Dancing' and 'The X Factor' now rule your weekends. The football season is now over two months old, with FA Cup fixtures every other week for the non league clubs and the England team are one match - v Poland - away from qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Parents are delighted as the school year is under way and Channel 4 reflect this with the series 'Educating Yorkshire', which focuses on a pupil named Sheridan and her colourful use of the English language, as well as the deputy head teacher, Mr Steer, who is allergic to everything. This post has used italics six times and that's enough. People to see and stuff to do and all that, as always, if you have visited this blog for the first time, welcome and please return again soon. Reflections of the Nashville floods, May 2010

I WAS NOT AWARE, until I read the Twitter feed of Taylor Swift, pictured above, of the flooding which took place in Nashville, TN, USA, in the early days of May 2010.

Pictures and articles were posted on the website of The Huffington Post, which demonstrate the scale of the flooding.

A small photo gallery is available on the website of international radio broadcaster WWCR, who went off air during the flooding due to damage caused to their aerials by the water.

Here's hoping Nashville is on the road to recovery. Thoughts are with you.
