Season 2019/20: The Season So Far - Part Eight


WE are in unprecedented times. These posts reflecting month-by-month goings-on at Carlisle United Football Club have been relatively straight forward: fixtures, results, images, sometimes links and videos. As Covid-19 continues to strike, life is on hold. Part Eight brings a timeline of March 2020 with Carlisle United Football Club.

Results: March 2020

Saturday 7th [March]: League Two: United 0 - Colchester United 3

On the morning of Friday 13 March, following a joint announcement from the FA, Premier League, EFL and Barclays FA Women’s Super League and FA Women’s Championship that all governing bodies have collectively agreed to postpone the professional game in England until 3 April, at the earliest, Carlisle United posted a statement, which can be read here.

As a resumption date for April 30 was planned, Carlisle United posted a statement dated 27 March, which can be read here.

For the continuity of this blog, United's postponed fixtures in March were as follows:
