Six Nations Super Saturday (The Results)

Nine months ago, the 2020 Six Nations Rugby Championship got underway.
Saturday, 31st October, saw the final round of matches take place, with the title going to any of Ireland, France or England.

The first fixture of the day, Wales v Scotland, resulted in a 14-10 away win for the Scots, who lifted the Doddie Weir Cup for the first time:

The second fixture of the day, Italy v England, resulted in a 34-5 bonus point away win for England, who were top of the table prior to the final game of the Championship.

The final fixture of the day, France v Ireland, took place in Paris.  To take the title, France had to overtake the points total of the teams above them in the table at the start of play. The mathematics for Ireland were much more simple: Win by a  seven point margin.
The final score was a 35-27 win for France.  Not enough for France to take the title, also the defeat for Ireland denied them the title.
