The fourth tier, February 2016.

THE month of February is almost at an end, so it is an ideal time to round up the February results from my favourite club in the fourth tier of English football, Carlisle United Football Club.

  • League: Saturday 6th: United 2 - Accrington Stanley 0. Attendance: 4709.
  • League: Saturday 13th: Newport County 1 - United 0. Attendance: 2106.
  • League: Tuesday 16th: Accrington Stanley 1 - United 1. Attendance: 2080.
  • League: Saturday 20th: United 1 - Stevenage 0. Attendance: 4780.
  • League: Tuesday 23rd: AFC Wimbledon 1 - United 0. Attendance: 3526.
  • League: Saturday 27th: Morecambe 1 - United 2. Attendance: 3070.

As it stands on the afternoon of Sunday 28th, United are eleventh in League Two, having played 31 matches, won 13, drawn 10, lost 8. United have 49 points.

United have seven fixtures in March: Leyton Orient, Northampton Town, Wycombe Wanderers and Bristol Rovers (Easter Monday) at home; Dagenham & Redbridge, Exeter City and Yeovil Town (Good Friday) away.

Enjoy the forthcoming fixtures in Springtime.
