WHILST I can't guarantee that this great picture was taken at Westward Ho!, the Devonshire coastal town as alluded to in the title of this post, I can guarantee that Caitlin and Sidney Powell do feature as Wallpaper of the Week. Or should I say Birthday week! As Caitlin and Sidney have both celebrated their Birthdays recently. So this post is also a belated Happy Birthday to both.

Also alluded to in the title of this post is Caitlin and Sidney's day job - They are the band Facing West.

Happy Birthday! Ten Today!

A SHORT but important post. It was ten years ago this day that this blog came into being. You can link back to that very first post here. I would be interested to learn who the anonymous comment was posted by, I am sure that person made themselves known to me at the time, but due to the passage of time, it seems my memory may have mislaid that information!

Thank you to everyone who has visited this blog over the ten years, I have no plans to retire this blog anytime soon; To the contrary, you may have noticed the background template has been updated and expanded, something I did have in mind to mark the tenth anniversary of this blog.

WELCOME to this latest edition of Reporting From The Fox Tower, brought to you on the evening of Friday the thirteenth, 2013. If you like numerical dates, then today is 13-12-13. The double presence of the number thirteen will no doubt be of great interest to Miss Taylor Alison Swift - pictured left - who regards the number 13 as her lucky number, as it was the thirteenth day of December on which she was born. So it is time to wish Taylor a very Happy Birthday, with lots of love for her magnificent albums: Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Speak Now World Tour Live and RED. Miss Britney Jean Spears, who has a new album, tour and perfume for your delectation this coming Christmas. That's enough said about that for the time being.

I do hope Miss Gillan and Miss Spears enjoy their Birthdays. RFTFT will be back again soon with what you might call a 'Rear end special' - As it is the rear end of 2013, I'll publish some nice pictures from throughout the year, hopefully reminding us of the sunny days in the middle of the year.
